Easter 2012 and festivities

Addison was more tolerant of the Easter bunny who came to our neighborhood. That's most likely because he was giving out chocolate.

We dyed eggs which was traumatic because Addison wasn't permitted to hold the cup of dye.

She enjoys sitting at her table (on Heather's refurbished childhood chairs) and coloring with crayons.

She also loves going to the playground.

Spring break (we needed one this year) 2012

Addison was an angel on the airplane thanks to Handy Manny & Sesame Street on the iPad.

First flight: March 10, 2012

We visited Venice and drove down to the Keys with Chris and family. 

We enjoyed riding bikes down to the shore/pool every day!

The seas were a bit choppy for the fisherman of our crew, but we four enjoyed the pool (and bar) while they were out trying to find some fish!

Break-in

Some incredibly nice guy came into the house and took Heather's engagement ring to the jeweler to be fixed. Unfortunately, he wasn't invited and didn't return it!

Christmas 2011

We celebrated twice again this year...just before Christmas with the Ewans and Sudlows. 

Then again on Christmas at Gram Murphy's...

We visited Richland Lanes...

Heather almost broke 100...but almost doesn't count when you're bowling. 

Visit with Santa 2011

Waiting in line to see Santa at Holly Days Nursery. She was happy for the entire hour + that we were waiting, but.....

She was not happy at all about Santa!  

Addison didn't even like Mrs. Clause

Halloween 2011

Addison was a homemade owl in 2011.

We had a freak snowstorm the week before Halloween. This snowman was on a neighbor's lawn when we went trick or treating.

Look out! Looks like the pretty packaging of candy has Addison's attention.

Pumpkin Patch 2011

Someone is certainly growing up!! These pics are much different from the ones of her newborn who couldn't hold up her own head last year. Addison had a great time at the Merrymead Farms with the family this year.

I can feed myself!

Addison decided that once she turned 1, she no longer needed anyone to feed her. She began to exert her "independence" and scream if we tried to feed her with a spoon.

Happy 1st Birthday!

Addison's first birthday party : October 1, 2011 Addison actually had 3 Birthday celebrations - but this was her "big" one. What a lucky girl.

Our 2011 summer project

So, we ripped down all the old screen and several broken/rotted boards from the porch, power washed the place, replaced the boards/screen, and repainted all that wood. New carpeting was cut for the deck and the place is better than ever. We finished just in time (literally) to celebrate Addison's birthday there on October 1st. (As usual, Greg performed much more of the work on the project. Thanks a million sweetheart!!)
